Miller City leadoff hitter Kierra Ruhe tripled, doubled and drove in two runs and the Wildcats scored four runs in the bottom of the sixth to overtake Van Buren, 10-7. Ava Reichley (MC) doubled, singled and scored two runs for Miller City. She also pitched four innings and allowed five runs, two earned, to pick up the win. Reichley struck out seven and walked four. For Van Buren, Avery Beall hit a solo home run. She also pitched four innings, allowing six runs, five earned. Beall walked two and struck out two. Haidyn Sattler singled, doubled, tripled, and scored three times for the Black Knights . Claire Maag doubled, singled, and drove in two runs. The Black Knights travel to Tiffin on Saturday to take on the Calvert Senecas in a non-conference double header. First game is set for 11:00 AM.
