VAN BUREN – Audrey Riegle blasted a two run homer, Ava DeCooman drove in four runs, and Jordan Patton scattered four hits as Van Buren knocked off Arlington, 10-1. DeCooman doubled, tripled and scored a run for the Black Knights, who improved to 4-4, 3-0 in the BVC. Avery Beall doubled, singled, scored twice and drove in a run for Van Buren, which had seven hits overall, and took advantage of four Red Devils’ errors. Patton allowed one run in the fifth inning. She walked two and struck out seven to pick up the win. Arlington (1-6, 1-1 BVC) got a double and RBI from Ellie Marquart, who also pitched three innings Monday, allowing an unearned run while striking out two and walking one.
