Caleb Mason homered, doubled and plated four runs for the Black Knights. He also went to the mound and finished the game with 1 1/3 innings of scoreless relief for the win. Finn Martin homered, singled and drove in three runs, while Will Rampe hit one out, doubled, scored three times and drove in two runs. Allen East had only seven hits off Black Knights pitching, but was able to capitalize on four VB errors. Travis Stanley singled twice and drove in two runs for the Mustangs, who fell to 8-3.
