Van Buren outhit Tiffin Columbian, 6-3 Monday, but wasn't able to push across any runs. The Tornadoes, meanwhile, scored runs in the first, third, and fifth innings and topped the Black Knights, 3-0 Columbian starting pitcher Blake Gaulden allowed a double to Finn Martin and five singles in his complete game shut-out. He struck out seven and walked one. Tiffin Columbian leadoff hitter Jaxson Little tripled and scored twice. Canyn Schofield pitched 5 1/3 inning for the Black Knights, allowing all three runs. He walked three and struck out five, taking the loss. The Black Knights fall to 7-5.
