The 2026 season is officially underway for the Van Buren Black Knight Golf Team. The Black Knights traveled to Ypsilanti, Michigan today to compete in the Up North Invitational at Eagle Crest Golf Club. In a strong early season field, the Black Knights finished 4th with a team score of 368 (top 4 scores). Leading the way for Van Buren were Luke Grady (91) and Peyton Beilharz (91), followed by Nickolas Reinhart (92) and Andrew Hibbard (94). Also competing for the Black Knights were Braxton Scherf (95) and Reid Cramer (96). The Varsity will tee it up again on Monday, August 3rd in Event #1 for the Blanchard Valley Conference, held at the Findlay Country Club.
